Browser support
The translator uses Chrome's built-in Translator API and currently requires a supported desktop Chrome browser. TextGleam checks support before enabling the button, so unsupported browsers receive a clear message.
Why local translation matters
TextGleam does not receive or store the text. Language packs are managed by the browser, and the translation runs on the device when the API is available.
