Text and data you paste
TextGleam’s cleanup operations run locally in your browser. The application does not transmit, save, sell, or use the text and tabular data you paste for cleanup.
Translation
When supported, translation uses the browser’s built-in Translator API. The browser may download language packs. TextGleam does not receive the translated text or the original text through this feature.
Spreadsheet exports
The dashboard and CSV cleaner use a versioned copy of the SheetJS browser library served with TextGleam to create Excel files. Spreadsheet content is converted locally in your browser.
Site software
The code used by the cleanup workspace, including its styling and spreadsheet-export libraries, is served from the TextGleam site. The workspace does not send the text or table content you enter to analytics services.
Clipboard and downloads
Clipboard access occurs only when you choose a paste or copy action and remains subject to your browser’s permissions. Downloads are created locally from the result shown in your browser.
Accounts, advertising, and analytics
TextGleam does not require an account and does not contain advertising. TextGleam uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits and website performance without cookies or cross-site tracking. Analytics does not receive the text or data entered in the cleanup workspace.
Technical hosting data
Infrastructure providers may process ordinary request information needed to deliver, measure, and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser information, timestamps, page addresses, and security logs. This does not include the content placed into TextGleam’s local text areas by the application.
Optional feedback
The feedback link opens a Google Form in a new tab. Google may process information you submit there under its own terms and privacy policy. TextGleam does not automatically send your workspace text to the form.
Policy changes
This page will display an updated effective date when the policy changes materially.
